On November 1, 2026, Windhaming, the Windham Hill community, gathers at The Freight in Berkeley, California to celebrate 50 years of Windham Hill art and artists. The day begins with conversations and panels exploring the label’s history, artistry, and lasting influence, followed by an evening concert featuring artists from across the Windham Hill catalog.”
We chose The Freight not only for its Bay Area location, but its excellent sound quality and sight lines – this event will be filmed as part of the upcoming documentary film “A Quiet Revolution.”
Details to follow, but this will be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate Windham Hill on the 50th anniversary of the label.
